About Us

Who We Are

What We Believe

-The Trinity: One God that manifest Himself in the three persons, The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who was, and is currently active in the world today. Gen 1:1-4, John 1:1

-Jesus: born of a virgin and has revealed Himself through the Old Testament and the prophets. His claim is that He is God. He lived a sinless life and encountered struggles and temptations of life. In other words He overcame all the same junk we fail at. He was murdered on a cross and it is by His blood that atones for our sin. He was placed in a tomb and was raised on the third day. He was seen by over five hundred people and He walked on the earth after His resurrection for forty days. He then ascended to heaven and has taken His rightful place at the right hand of the Father. Isaiah, Gospels, Acts, Revelation

-Holy Spirit: Jesus promised that after he left He would send us a helper. This happened in Acts chapter 2. The Spirit now takes the place of the old sacrifices and we are now able to be indwelled by the Spirit upon salvation. Through the Spirit He imparts gifts to each believer to edify the church and the believer. The Spirit enables us to live a life that reflects Christ and draws us closer to Him through sanctification. He empowers us to go out and live bold lives for Jesus and to bring Him honor and not ourselves. Acts 2, 1 Corinthians 12

-The Word: the Bible is the infallible, perfect Word of God written through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is the guide for living a life worthy of our calling. It is alive and speaks to our hearts and is relevant even in our time today. His Word will never end. It is the same and it will never change from eternity past through eternity future. John 1, Hebrews 6:17, 13:8, 1 Peter 1:25

-Church: The church age started on the day of Pentecost in Acts chapter 2. Our culture sees the church as a building, and we see it as the body. Each true believer of Christ is the church. We just meet in a building for fellowship and discipleship. The church is by Gods purpose to GO out to community. They went from door to door, broke bread with each other, and met in the temple courts. They sold their stuff and gave it to those in need. This is the Church. Acts 2

-Sin: Humanity is the product of the fall, or original sin. It is sin that keeps us separated from a Holy God. Our prideful selves constantly desire to push God out and in reality we are God haters. We are all subject to our flesh, and the enemy’s army, to fall into sin from our own selfish desires. It is us that always gets in the way of eternal life. Gen 3, Romans 1

-Hell: is a real place of eternal separation in torment for those who reject Jesus. Jesus says it is a place of fire and weeping and gnashing of teeth. The Gospel parables from Jesus, Revelation 20:11-15

-Salvation: This is where one is drawn by the Holy Spirit to submit to Jesus as Savior and Lord. At this moment the Spirit comes in and begins the transformation through sanctification. This now is the start of a real relationship with Jesus. A love affair that will last an eternity and true salvation will be accompanied by fruits. Romans 10:9-13, Acts 16:30, Luke 18:26, Ephesians 2:8, etc..
